this is my website. it's a collection of things. most of my life is on hold while I finish grad school.

feel free to contact me. more than likely I will appreciate the distraction from some vastly more important task. like Peggle Nights.

Words

There are a number of places where I write things down or type things out, this is not an exhaustive list, links provided where appropriate.

I have a wiki, but it is personal. So Keep Out.

I have a tumblelog called tumbl tumbl. I never ever use it because I don't spend enough time on flickr and/or youtube apparently.

I have an "active" livejournal which tends to be friends only. Recent topics have included exciting things like the fact that I bought a tv, my recent listening, etc.

I have an inactive livejournal which is best left alone. It is an angry, angsty little thing.

I have various collections of paper which hold the keys to my innermost thoughts. Including two moleskine notebooks and scraps of paper scattered throughout all the bags I own.

I write poetry every 6 months. Wherein I mostly try to be a mixture of John Ashbery and Robert Hass.

Stuff in my Head

If you prod me enough these are the things I will probably talk about because I like them and think about them.

Again, not an exhaustive list.

Good Luck, library school, being done with this ridiculous thesis, (literary/critical/media/etc.) theory, myself, ice cream and/or cake, Sunday muffins, being tired, being hungry, Shadow of the Colossus, my new television, technology, Mcluhan, food, Ethiopian food, meditation (soto zen and insight/vipassana), how I hate grad school, Oakland, prints, No Age, Chris Marker, earnestness and how I miss it, .

Also I can't seem to spell "appropriate" anymore. I'm constantly leaving out the second "r". I find this troubling. Also, "curiosity". My fingers are convinced there is a "u" in there somewhere. My fingers are wrong. New addition is delicious. I leave out the second i.

Stuff in my Hands

I play video games.

I have the tools to, carve things, paint things, draw things, glue things, knit things, crochet things, cross stitch things, and embroider things. Currently I do none of the above.

I read books too, but right now am just reading the same one over and over again for school..

Dead/On Hold

Many things, but new life is springing up all over.
